Unscheduled Free Tastings at Suburban

Saturday Tastings happen every Saturday that there is not an Event (which is a tasting of lots & lots & lots of wines). Approximately 10 wines will be tasted with a 20% discount on all.

Grand In-Store Free Tasting Events

All tasting events listed in this section are free of charge and all wines poured, as well as all other wines in the store from that same category (and not already on sale), can be purchased at a 20% savings. On our Semi-annual Wine & Food Expos, all still wines in the store (375ml, 750ml and 1.5L) are discounted 20%.

Here are a few suggestions if you will be attending one of these events - bring your own glass to increase your ability to assess the wines, and please refrain from wearing cologne or perfume, in order to increase others’ ability to assess. Also, for high-end customers, we often hold a special gems sampling in “the backroom".

R Wines
Get to know these extraordinary values in Australian wine at a mid-summer tasting devoted exclusively to them!

Chris Ringland, the famed winemaker behind such delicious and outrageously-packaged wines as Marquis Philips, Boarding Pass, Evil, Bitch, Suxx, Strong Arms (and now, from California, Green Lion,) has been keeping our Australian section interesting for some years now. A representative from importer The Grateful Palate will be here to sample you on a healthy handful of his R Wines.  Wines opened that day will include new releases, such as Ebenezer Shiraz, Chateau Grenache, Luchador Shiraz, and of course more of our favorite R Wines.  Everything opened will be available for purchase at 20% off all day.
