Umenoyado Yuzu Shu is a low alcohol and easy drinking liqueur made from fresh Yuzu juice and sake. If you are unfamiliar with the Yuzu Fruit, it is an Asian citrus fruit that has resemblance to the grapefruit and mandarin orange. Using this popular fruit, the resulting spirit can be described as a “Japanese Limoncello” because of its flavor characteristics. Whole yuzu fruit was squeezed into this sake with a total juice content of 21% and plenty of natural pulp. The natural citrus oils and juice of handpicked fruit give an extremely bright example of yuzu. It’s refreshing, cleansing and sweet. Great chilled, on the rocks, or mixed in a cocktail.
