Tasting Note: A rich garnet hue with a tinge of brick red around the edges. The nose gently evolves from a blunt introduction of black plums and stewed strawberries to old leather, pencil shavings, salty licorice, and a touch of briny olive. The palate has a dance of juicy black and red berry fruit that gives way to a core of cured tobacco, leather, and minerality before being broken by bright acidity. Followed by a brief moment of firm tannins wrapping with a mouthwatering finish!
